There are all kinds of stunts the cast of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom had to partake in for the second instalment of the rebooted franchise to provide more shebang. But it all comes at a cost and Chris Pratt was all too happy to reveal the details.
For an underwater scene involving Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Justice Smith, the cast and crew had to get in a massive pool at Pinewood studios in London for about a week. The scene was that Pratt had to rescue Howard and Smith from a sinking Gyrosphere.
At The Graham Norton Show, talking about the time spent doing that part of the shooting, Pratt revealed that he was actually swimming in pee!
He said that he is certain the crew of about 85 was constantly peeing in that pool because they didn’t have time to take pee breaks!
“You are not supposed to pee in the pool, but no one got out!’ said Pratt.
But then happened two big reveals when another guest, Thandie Newton of Westworld, asked Pratt if he peed?
“I… actually shit myself,” said Pratt. “Time is money on a movie like this.”
Host Graham Norton asked a question on the same lines to Howard too.
“I felt this freedom as I was working… I was really present…” she said as she was trying to articulate her answer.
This is when Pratt came to rescue and said that she didn’t but her character Claire Dearing peed.
“Yes, yes. There it is. Claire was panicked!” said Howard.
But then, since the cat was already out the bag, she told to Pratt, “Every time you have said that for the last seven months, I was so deeply ashamed.”
“I forgive you,” said Pratt.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will release in India on June 7. This is when you can figure out which scene these guys were talking about.
